Percy Robert Miller, famously known as Master P, is an American musician, rapper, and filmmaker. He was born on 29 April 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the eldest kid of his parents, Percy and Josie Miller, having 1 sister and 3 brothers. two of his brothers are also rap artists.
Miller studied at the Booker T. Washington High School, Warren Eastern High School, and then the University of Houston from he dropped out and attended the Merritt College. Miller received $10,00 as an inheritance from his grandfather. He spent the money by launching a record store and named it No Limit Records. He released his first studio album Get Away Clean in 1991.
In the next few years he released few more albums which include Mama’s Bad Boy, The Ghettos Tryin’ to Kill Me, and 99 ways to Die. In 1993 he collaborated with music hip-hop group TRY and released the album Who’s da Killer? His actual success and recognition started when he released the albums Ice Cream Man and Ghetto D. the album Ghetto D’s single Make ‘Em Say Uhhh! became a massive hit.
Master P also worked for TV and film. His films include Soccer Mom, Uncle P, Toxic Foolish, I Got the Hook Up, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Uncle Will’s Family. Master P is a versatile man. He is not only a rapper and musician but also a businessman. He has inevested big amounts on TV shows, films, clothing brands, food chains, and even real estate.
