Stephen King is an American author who is famous for his horror and thriller books and novels. He was born on 21 September 1947 in Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine. He studied at the Durham Elementary School and completed his graduation from the Lisbon Falls High School. He received his master degree in English from the University of Maine in the year 1970.
Stephen’s first ever book was The Glass Floor which he launched in 1967. He started writing short articles in the Men’s Magazine while searching for a good job. In the year 1973, he launched his novel Carrie which became a massive hit.
He is very famous for writing horror novels. Some of the marvelous books written by Stephen include Salem’s Lot, The Long Walk, The Running Man, Cycle of the Werewolf, It, The Dark Half, Needful Things, Rose Madder, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Bag of Bones, Gwendy’s Button Box, The Outsider, and The Institute. In 1971, Stephen married novelist Tabitha Spruce.
The beautiful couple is parents to two sons and a daughter. Both of his sons are also authors. Stephen is also the grandfather of four adorable kids.
