She was best known for her role as “Lisa Douglas” in the comedy television series Green Acres. She voiced Miss Bianca in Disney’s The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under and Duchess in the Disney film The Aristocats. She ran her television talk show, The Eva Gabor Show in 1953. She had a scattershot career in Hollywood movies.
Some of her famous films are Gigi, The Wife of Monte Cristo, The Last Time I Saw Paris, A Royal Scandal, Nutcracker Fantasy, The Princess Academy, and It Started with a Kiss. On July 4, 1995, she died of respiratory failure and pneumonia. Her funeral was held after 6 days of her death at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.
