She started her career as a dancer and performed in the 1935 film Dante’s Inferno as Rita Cansino. The same year she appeared in the film Under the Pampas Moon where she was given a speaking role.
Later she was seen in the films Charlie Chan in Egypt, Professional Soldier, Meet Nero Wolfe, The Game That Kills, There’s Always a Woman, The Renegade Ranger, Music in My Heart, Susan and God, Cover Girl, Separate Tables, The Money Trap, The Naked Zoo, and several others. Rita’s last film was The Wrath of God released in 1972. Unfortunately, Rita died on 14 May 1987 due to Alzheimer’s disease.
