Kenan Thompson is an American comedian and actor who has the honor to be the longest-tenured cast member of the show Saturday Night Live. The actor was born on 10 May 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia. His mother, Elizabeth Ann Thompson wanted him to opt for acting as his career and so, she admitted him to acting classes at a very young age.
He went to the Tri-Cities High School and completed his graduation in the year 1996. He appeared in his school play The Ginger Bread Duck which was the beginning of his acting career. He was also a member of All That, a Nickelodeon comedy series. Kenan’s career rose to success after he became a cast member of the show Saturday Night Live in 2003.
He later appeared in the films including Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Fat Albert, Snakes on a Plane, Going in Style, They Came Together, and The Grinch. He also lent his voice for films like The Smurfs, Space Chimps, and Rock Dog.
