Rob started skateboarding professionally after he was gifted a skateboard by a professional skateboarder Neil Blender. He received a sponsorship from the company that Neil was a part of and tjis was the start of his skateboarding career. After some years, he left the company and formed his own independent company Alien Workshop together with Neil Blender. This was the time he left his school to pursue his career as a skateboarder.
