Early Life of Pitbull

15 January 1981, was a day when the king of pop was born to the home of a couple (Armando and Alysha) in Miami, Florida, who also has a daughter named, Jennifer. His parents were from the northern Caribbean. His father was a drug dealer. When he was young, his father and mother decided to get separated from each other and he stayed with his mother. He listened to the work of the national hero of Cuba at the age of 3.

He studied at South Miami Senior High School. At an early age, he was fond of listening to poems and music. His mother drove him out of the home when he was under 17. After this, he went to Roswell, Georgia where he started to live with foster parents. There, he got involved in the sale of illegal drugs. He was graduated from Miami Coral Park High School where his interest in rapping was increased and there he decided to become a rapper. Then, he decided to name himself Pitbull.

Career

Luther Campbell’s Luke Record signed him in 2001 and after the end of the deal with Luthor Campbell’s Luke Record, Fernandez introduced him to Lil Jhon, who saw his talent and started working with him. Lil Jhon gave Mr.305 the first breakthrough in 2002. Then, in 2004, he released his first album M.I.A.M.I and first single Culo, which earned great success. On U.S rap chart, he was positioned no. 2. He then founded label “Bad Boy Latino” with American rapper Diddy.

He released his second album El Marie and dedicated to his dead father in 2006 and this album was ranked at the top on an independent album chart. He released his third album in 2007 whose name was “The Boatlift” and included a single “Go Girl”. This album was included in the list of top 100 Billboard charts, ranking on 80^th position. His fourth album “Pitbull Starring in Rebelution” was released in 2009 and ranked 1^st on the U.S rap chart.

He released a full-length Spanish album in 2010 and its name was “Armando”. In the same year, he received the nomination of the Billboard Latin Music Award. In 2011, he released his next album “Planet Pit” who earned great commercial success. In 2012, his seventh album “Global Warming” ranked top in the Billboard.

This year, he recorded single “Back in Time” for movie Men in Black 3 which gave him success. In 2014, he performed in the opening ceremony of Fifa World Cup 2014. In the same year, he released album “Globalization” and in 2015, he released album “Dale”. His last two albums at present are “Climate Change” and “Libertad 548” which were released in 2017 and 2019
