Colin Kaepernick is an American football quarterback who has played with San Francisco 49ers for 6 years. He was born on 3 November 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His real parents were already separated before his birth. He was adopted by Rick and Teresa Kaepernick from his mother, Heidi Russo.
So, Colin became a younger brother to Devon Kaepernick and Kyle Kaepernick. He started playing football at the age of 8. He went to the John H. Pitman High School. He played baseball during his high school but wanted to focus on football. He went to the University of Nevada after he was offered a spot there. He played really well and was ranked among the best college football quarterbacks. He was drafted by Chicago Hubs initially but he started playing with San Francisco 49ers in 2011.
In 2012, he led his team to Super Bowl XLVII where they lost to Baltimore Ravens. The next year he lost against Seattle Seahawks. In 2016, during the San Francisco 49ers 3rd preseason game, Colin did not stand for the US national anthem. This was his way of protesting against the injustice for the US minorities.
