According to her biography, she is the daughter of Kathryn Moore and Mike Dabney. Moore started playing basketball at the age of three; her mother placed a hoop on the back door of her house. She went to Moreau Heights Elementary School when she was a child.  For her higher studies, she went to Collins Hill High School in Gwinnett County. She has joined UNICEF Kid Power for her charity.
