Nas was born to Olu Dara and Fannie Ann on 14 September 1973 in New York. His father was also a musician and his brother Jabari Fret is also a rapper and is associated with the music group Bravehearts. He, along with his family, shifted to Queensbridge Houses where their neighbor Willy Graham motivated him to sing seeing his interests towards music. In his early years, he wrote numerous rhymes of his own.
Nas has been into relationship with different women. He was engaged to Carmen Bryan but unfortunately their relationship ended soon. They have a daughter named Destiny Jones. Career
Nas released his first single in the year 1992. His struggle was really hard and after two years in 1994, he successfully released his debut album Illmatic.
